History and Explanation Lawn Bowls is one of the oldest sporting event known to man, and proof of its existence can be found in Egyptian archaeological evidence dating way back to 5,200 BC. From Egypt, the sport is believed to have spread in popularity toward other parts of Europe and later widely played in Britain. |
